Position Summary

We are seeking a Production Leader to assume responsibility for overseeing comprehensive production operations, with a focus on optimizing efficiency, maintaining stringent safety standards, and ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality products. The successful candidate will be charged with directing day-to-day activities, formulating and executing production strategies, liaising with various departments to address operational challenges, analyzing performance metrics, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement


Responsibilities

  • Leading and managing day-to-day production activities, including scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow coordination.
  • Developing and implementing production plans, strategies, and initiatives to optimize manufacturing processes and enhance productivity, quality, and efficiency.
  • Supervising and mentoring production team members, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure high performance and adherence to safety and quality standards.
  • Collaborating with other departments, such as maintenance, engineering, and quality assurance, to resolve production issues, implement process improvements, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Monitoring and analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs), production metrics, and operational data to identify trends, performance gaps, and areas for improvement.
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, including safety, quality, and environmental standards.
  • Fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement within the production team, promoting employee engagement and development.
  • Implementing and maintaining best practices in lean manufacturing, 5S, and other production methodologies to streamline operations and reduce waste.
  • Leading and participating in regular production meetings, providing updates on production status, performance, and challenges, and collaboratively developing action plans to address issues and meet objectives.

Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, or related field preferred.
  • +3 years of production management or supervisory experience within manufacturing.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, adept at motivating, coaching, and developing teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, focused on driving results and continuous improvement.
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, quality systems, and methodologies.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and production management software.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in manufacturing
