The Graduate Assistant for Student Retention Initiatives will play a critical role in analyzing student data and supporting retention and persistence strategies. This position offers an opportunity to enhance student academic success, provide data-driven insights, and support professional staff in advancing student-centered advising practices.
Responsibilities:
- Collect, report, and evaluate data on the use and impact of student services
- Evaluate and report on student outcomes to inform retention and persistence strategies
- Propose actionable interventions based on data analysis
- Support the marketing and promotion of updates to advising technologies and enhancements
- Advance knowledge of advising technologies to support intervention strategies and measure outcomes
- Apply educational theories to inform and refine technology-led advising strategies for retention and persistence
- Collaborate with professional staff across diverse offices to support coordinated student success initiatives
This position is ideal for graduate students with a passion for data-driven decision-making, student support, and developing professional skills in a collaborative and dynamic environment.
Minimum Qualifications - Must be a graduate student applying/enrolled at the Ohio University Athens campus
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Skills in data analysis.
