FULL-TIME REPORTER
The Parkersburg News and Sentinel and The Marietta Times are seeking a full-time reporter, based in the Parkersburg newsroom.
The person who fills this position will be responsible for news and event coverage in Washington County, Ohio; Wood County, W.Va., and occasionally in surrounding counties on both sides of the Ohio River.
Relevant education and experience are preferred, but not required. Photography and videography experience are a plus.
The right candidate will be relentlessly curious, a quick learner, an effective communicator and able to adapt to an evolving technology and media landscape.
The candidate must have reliable transportation and be flexible for working evenings, weekends or holidays when news coverage requires.
