Missile and Space Systems Maintenance at United States Air Force summary: Missile and Space Systems Maintenance specialists are responsible for the servicing and maintenance of missiles and rockets, ensuring these critical components of national defense are operational at all times. They plan, organize, and perform necessary services on missile launchers and space lift boosters. To join the Air Force in this role, individuals must meet specific requirements, including background checks, health standards, and educational qualifications. Responsible for servicing and maintaining them, Missile and Space Systems Maintenance specialists ensure these assets are fully operational at all times. From missile launchers to space lift boosters, these highly knowledgeable experts plan, organize and perform every service necessary to keep these systems in pristine working condition so they're ready when we need them. REQUIREMENTS You must meet several requirements before joining the Air Force. These concern your background, overall health and other standards set by the Air Force, Department of Defense and federal law.Minimum Education You must be 17–42 years of age, a U.S. citizen and obtain a qualifying ASVAB score.
