An international manufacturing company in the Parkersburg, WV area is now looking for a Production Controls Engineer to join their facility. The ideal candidate will have previous leadership experience within a manufacturing environment.

Production Controls Engineer Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance of both electrical and mechanical systems, ensuring efficient troubleshooting and repair of machinery controls
• Assess machinery to determine maintenance needs and plan appropriate maintenance procedures
• Oversee team of PC Technicians
• Plan schedules for work orders and assign technicians for maintenance

Production Controls Engineer Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field
• 5 years of experience in manufacturing and maintenance (automotive is a plus)
• Min. 3 years of PLC, HMI, and SCADA experience
• Proven experience in maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of industrial machinery controls and production equipment
• Expertise in PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers) with proficiency in software creation (ex. OMRON or Allen Bradley systems)
• Able to read diagrams, schematics and interpret technical manuals
• Strong fabrication and welding skills are preferred
