Clark Hill is seeking an experienced Associate to join its Litigation Business Unit. All candidates must be licensed in and local to West Virginia. The Associate will work remotely but must be available for onsite court appearances.

The ideal candidate will possess the following experience and skills:

• 2+ years of commercial litigation experience
• Trial preparation and courtroom experience, including file responsibility, motion practice, and deposition experience
• Exceptional advocacy, research, writing, and negotiation skills
• Willingness and tenacity to learn new areas of law
• Strong academic credentials (Top 20% in class and Law Review preferred)
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Oil and gas experience preferred but not required
  
  

The salary range for this position at the time of posting is $110,000 - $140,000 annually, based upon a full-time work schedule. Actual compensation will be influenced by various factors, including but not limited to employee qualifications, relevant experience, skill sets, training, internal equity, and market data. This position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition, Clark Hill offers employees the ability to participate in health insurance with optional HSA/FSA, short term disability, long term disability, dental insurance, vision care, life insurance, 401K, vacation, sick time, parking/public transportation allowance, and an employee assistance program.
