Job Details

Under general direction from lead worker or supervision from food service manager or other supervisor, weighs & mixes ingredients for baked goods and bakes short breads, pastries and puddings. - Adheres to all OSHA and/or Ohio University required safety guidelines; - Weighs and mixes ingredients for baked goods and bakes basic baked goods according to production sheets and using standardized recipes, following departmental guidelines; - Decorates cakes and rolls; - Portions baked goods and wraps for delivery to dining areas and/or refrigerated storage; - Responsible for accurate assistance in staging all dining hall orders; - Cleans and sanitizes work area, utensils and equipment, reports accidents and malfunctioning equipment; - May oversee and mentor student employees; - Performs other related duties as required.
