The Senior Project Manager, Member Services position directly supervises contractors and students who are conducting applied academic research projects. This includes teaching students who are pursuing degrees in applied fashion through the students' work on externally funded applied academic research projects. These programs are linked to the school's mission to provide transformative applied learning opportunities to students and to execute projects related to policy innovation, energy and environment, and entrepreneurship and competitiveness in the southern Ohio region and throughout the State of Ohio.
This position involves project management, teaching students project management and stakeholder engagement skills and applications, collaborative work with internal University partners and external community partners, and effective communication with clients and stakeholders to meet project deadlines and minimize risks. This position regularly interacts with project sponsors, local development districts, state and federal agencies, economic development entities, and additional key stakeholders including elected officials at the local, state and federal levels y and assists with member retention, attraction, and customer service functions for the Mayors' Partnership for Progress (MPP). The position works closely with the MPP Executive Director and team members to identify, develop, and implement appropriate member service strategies to develop partnerships within the University and with external entities to build capacity at the local level to promote economic prosperity for the region.
The Senior Project Manager, Member Services will supervise the work of contractors and students, including planning, assigning, scheduling, and reviewing work and ensuring training, productivity, and quality standards are met. This position is based on availability of external funding and program need. Duties include: Oversees designated academic program or center and related activities. Manages assigned budget and/or financial responsibilities for program. Evaluates program and provides strategic recommendations for change as needed. Represents program to internal and external contacts. Collaborates with University schools, departments, units regarding program. May be responsible for staff management, compliance monitoring, and writing/reviewing program communications.
Access to reliable internet to support remote work when needed. Understanding of and ability to travel, most often locally or within the state of Ohio; may occasionally be asked to travel out of state to staff college events or national conferences.

Minimum Qualifications
Requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 5 or more years of related professional experience, or equivalent education and experience.Healthcare professionals must hold, or be eligible for, appropriate licensure as required by position.
