Compensation:

$45,000 - $50,000 yearly

Responsibilities:
  • Focus on Personal Lines, including Home, Auto, and Umbrella, as well as Small Commercial Lines for clients and prospects.
  • Engage in active prospecting to discover new clients, cultivate relationships, and communicate the value of our offerings effectively.
  • Develop a robust client base through networking, referrals, and targeted marketing strategies.
  • Participate in community events, sponsorships, and outreach programs as the agency's Community Engagement Team Lead to build connections.
  • Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand client requirements and propose tailored insurance coverage options.
  • Prepare and present insurance proposals, explaining policy features, coverage limits, and pricing effectively.
  • Leverage the agency's service team to assist with policy renewals, modifications, claims, and client inquiries to ensure satisfaction.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and changes in insurance products to offer knowledgeable guidance to clients.
  • Collaborate closely with underwriters and other professionals to facilitate the coverage application process.
  • Achieve and surpass sales targets and performance goals set by the agency.
  • Engage in training and professional development activities to continuously enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Utilize in-office hours for collaboration with teammates and mentors, then apply your momentum in the field through networking and events. Note that face-to-face collaboration is key; fully remote arrangements are not available.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in business, finance, or a related field is preferred.
  • Valid Property & Casualty insurance license.
  • Experience in insurance sales or customer service is an advantage but not required.
  • Completion of the agency's Commercial & Personal Lines 100 Level courses is mandatory, unless previously waived for experienced candidates who pass agency assessments.
  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with clients.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficient in technology and familiar with the agency's CRM system.
  • Self-motivated with a strong desire to achieve results.
