Position Summary
The Value Stream Manager provides leadership and direction in a fast-paced EMD Chemical battery manufacturing facility. You will be accountable for colleague safety, product quality, and the achievement of key performance objectives within the Value Stream and those reporting to the VSM.
Responsibilities
Leadership of daily Value Stream execution and improvement in core competencies (Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery)
Participates with the development of Value Stream specific financial commitments
Provides clear goals for direct reports and provides regular feedback and coaching
Develops others within the Value Stream to enable them for future roles within the business
Leads cross functional teams
Thorough understanding of Value Stream specific product costs including Direct Labor, Variable Expense, Fixed Cost, and major maintenance
Assists with development of annual budgets
Summarizes and shares key Value Stream results with plant management on a monthly basis
Collaborates with other Value Stream Managers towards meeting plant specific objectives
Develops and assist in the Local Plant Training Program
What we are looking for
Minimum 7-10 years supervisory experience, preferably in Production or Maintenance
Bachelor's degree, preferably Manufacturing Technology or Engineering or equivalent experience in a manufacturing environment
Financial Acumen related to product costs
Results focused - Achieving our Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, and strategic objectives
ERP experience (e.g., SAP)
Mechanical aptitude - equipment and system
What we prefer
SAP experience
Chemical processing experience
Adaptable to working within a union environment (facilitative skills)
Exposure to maintenance systems and processes
Familiar with HR processes and systems
Understanding of engineering projects and processes

Total Rewards Package
The salary range for this position is USD $115,000.00/Yr. - USD $130,000.00/Yr.
Actual base salary offered to a candidate may vary based upon factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
Bonus: This position is bonus eligible.
