Your Day at Lowe's

As a Customer Service Associate, your primary responsibility will be to welcome customers, helping them find the right products and services for their home projects. Daily interactions will include assisting customers in locating items, managing merchandise, and ensuring a smooth shopping experience.

You will serve in one of several departments, including Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, and more, depending on hiring needs and your skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome customers with friendly, professional service and answer inquiries.
  • Assist customers in locating and handling merchandise.
  • Replenish stock by identifying empty shelf areas and ensuring supplies are available.
  • Process orders and deliveries accurately to meet customer expectations.
  • Cross-train in various store areas to enhance service delivery.
  • Prepare merchandise in your department based on customer requirements.
  • Guide customers during their shopping or checkout experiences.
  • Complete additional assigned duties.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 6 months of experience using a computer and retail technology.
  • Basic skills in reading, writing, and arithmetic.
  • Able to perform activities involving prolonged standing and the ability to lift at least 25 lbs unaided.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 6 months of retail or customer service experience.
  • Bilingual abilities are a plus.
  • Certification related to the department (e.g., hardware, plumbing).
