As a Substitute Teacher at Paladin Housing's community education program, you will play a pivotal role in providing uninterrupted learning experiences for students from low-income families, in a supportive and inclusive environment. You will deliver instructional activities and manage classroom dynamics in the absence of the primary teacher, ensuring that educational standards and Paladin Housing?s mission of supporting community growth through education are met. Implement lesson plans while ensuring the integrity of academic time and in a manner that motivates students to learn and participate. Monitor the classroom and handle any disciplinary issues that may arise, maintaining a safe and respectful learning environment. Adapt teaching methods to fit the needs of each classroom and student, providing individual attention as needed. Record and report on students? progress and attendance in a timely and efficient manner. Follow all policies, rules, and procedures to which regular teachers are subject and which good teaching practice dictates.
