Hi-Vac Corporation, located in Marietta Ohio, is seekinganexperienced Field Service Technicians to join our team!

Field Service Technicians are responsible for performing maintenance and repair activities on various types of equipment manufactured by the company. They provide customer support and technical support by telephone. They must be able to diagnose, service, and repair various systems found on equipment such as blowers, water pumps, PTO, drivelines, pneumatic, electrical, and hydraulic. The Field Service Technician must troubleshoot and diagnose problems with equipment systems. They also perform routine maintenance checks and adjustments on such things as fluid levels, hoses, belts, etc.

Responsibilities may include the following but are not limited to:

• Perform Maintenance and repair on all types of equipment.
• Provide customer support and technical support during filed visits and by telephone.
• Diagnose, service, and repair various systems found on equipment such as blowers, water pumps, PTO, driveline, pneumatic, electrical and hydraulic.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with Equipment systems.
• Understands customer requirements and makes appropriate recommendations.
• Performs routine maintenance checks and adjustments on such things as fluid levels, hoses, belts, etc.
• Provides instruction and training to customers and dealers on proper operating and maintenance techniques.
• Travels to customer jobsites for training and repairs.
• Effective verbal and written communication with customers and dealers.

Education, Skills and/or Experience:

• High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) or equivalent and;
• Experience with hydraulics, electrical, mechanical assembly of larger equipment is needed;
• or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Capable of using Email.
• Vacuum trucks experience a plus.
• Must be able to travel with good driving record. CDL a plus but not required.
