Summary:

  • Provide shipping, receiving, storage, and order fulfillment services for finished goods, inventory, materials, supplies, parts, and equipment at assigned facilities.
  • The role supports warehouse operations by ensuring accurate, timely, and high-quality handling of products in accordance with established procedures and customer requirements.
Responsibilities
  • Pick, pack, sort, arrange, count, store, and process items for storage and shipment according to procedures and customer requirements.
  • Ensure accuracy and quality to deliver correct products within required timeframes.
  • Receive materials and finished goods daily and verify quantity, type, quality, and documentation (e.g., packing lists).
  • Safely operate distribution and warehouse equipment as required.
  • Work in varying warehouse environments, including room temperature, cold-room, and freezer-room conditions.
  • Follow policies, procedures, and safety guidelines to prevent delays and errors.
  • Maintain strong attendance and punctuality.
  • Participate in equipment training and on-the-job training as assigned.
Required Skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 0-2 years of related experience.
  • Ability to follow policies, procedures, and instructions independently.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Basic computer skills, including ERP systems, Outlook, and shipping software.
  • Ability to operate powered industrial trucks and work at various heights.
  • Ability to understand and interpret basic team metrics.
  • Effective communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in routine, repetitive work environments with minimal supervision.
Desired Skills
  • Prior experience in logistics or warehouse operations within a life science company.
  • Familiarity with shipping, receiving, and inventory control procedures.
  • Experience working in temperature-controlled warehouse environments.
  • Demonstrated reliability and strong attendance history.
