The EH&S Specialist is responsible for corporate EH&S procedural and initiative implementation, including but not limited to work instruction and associated training development, metrics tracking and trending, monthly and annual inspection programs and workers compensation claim's management and incident recordkeeping. The EH&S Specialist's primary objective is to create a workplace that is safe and healthy for all employees.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage and oversee the Numotion EH&S standard practice and training libraries.
Work with Director of EH&S to establish EHS metric-driven initiatives reducing overall work-related risks and incidences of injury.
Manage formal incident investigation and root cause analysis process following OSHA recordable incidents.
Oversee the claims management process and drive Numotion's Safe and Early Return to Work standard practice.
Monthly metrics reporting of EH&S-related documentation including, but not limited to incident claims management, at-risk concerns. Identify patterns to share with leadership for process improvement.
Serve as administrator for the incident management and inspection system; including the appropriate designation of incidents according to the OSHA Recordkeeping Standard (29 CFR 1904).
Receive and manage responses to telephone and written inquiries from claimants, attorneys, physicians, and policyholders.
Oversees site safety committees.
Utilize Numotion Leadership Principles to perform job with integrity, compliance, and values consistent with Numotion's mission.
Adhere to employee or customer confidentiality and comply with Numotion's policies and federal regulations.
Always provide excellent customer service for all internal and external customers of the operations. Provide solutions for customer concerns and continually focus on customer service as our top priority.
