We are currently looking for an Industry Manager to join our team in our Grandview, Ohio location. This role will be responsible for overseeing markets within a specific sector, ensuring that business activities align with organizational goals and industry standards. This role encompasses strategic planning, team leadership, and performance optimization to drive growth and efficiency.

The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Investigate and analyze markets trends, understanding customer needs and identifying growth opportunities and potential risks.
• Develop and implement strategies tailored to the specific industry's market trends and organizational objectives.
• Working with product management, sales, technology and finance to align resources and initiatives.
• Acting as a leader, expert and advocate for the industry both internally and externally.
• Monitoring and evaluating the performance of the industry segment and taking corrective actions as needed.
• Communication effectively with internal and external stakeholders about industry trends, strategies and performance.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners and industry influencers.

In order to be qualified for this role, you must possess the following:

• A bachelor's degree in business administration, industrial management, or a related field; a master's degree may be preferred
• Ability to research and characterize emerging industries and markets.
• Required wide experience in the Chemical Industry, 5+ years of experience in product management, business management or business development
• Experience writing business, market and product commercialization plans; as well as product development and product commercialization processes
• Action oriented, hands on, strategic thinker with strong analytical skills
• Microsoft 365 and SAP
• Self-starter able to develop and identify new opportunities
• Strong communication, presentation and consulting skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Individual contributor role
• Ability to travel up to 50%
