The Inventory Specialist is an integral part of the The Landing Dispensary team. This position reports to the dispensary General Manager. The Inventory Specialist is knowledgeable about cannabis, provides excellent customer service, works well with colleagues, and contributes to the overall atmosphere of the The Landing Dispensary. The Inventory Specialist will be responsible for spreading dispensary brand awareness and increasing retail sales through product trainings and patient engagement.

We're seeking someone dedicated to creating a dominant presence by managing positive customer-focused relationships within The Landing Dispensary and staff. The Inventory Specialist will update company retail sales inventory software daily and must adhere to all Ohio Division of Cannabis Control (DCC) Program regulations while maintaining a strong knowledge and comprehension of the functionality of METRC and any/all programs that will be used at the dispensary.

Requirements

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with the dispensary Designated Representatives (DR) to identify marketing needs and promptly deliver compliant materials for state review and approval.
  • Conduct market research, analysis and source customer feedback to gain insights that help shape our product portfolio.
  • Deliver results and strategic direction by ensuring day-to-day operations run smoothly.
  • Execute and follow up on operational standards and policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and security policies within retail stores.
  • Prepare and package orders for customers.
  • Maintain a clean and organized processing room. Maintain facility cleanliness.
  • Receive, count, and document inventory deliveries.
  • Completes required data entry (logging transactions, transfers, and daily intake/outgoing product) using Excel and state electronic record keeping systems.
  • Adhere to distribution guidelines. Unpack/sort/label merchandise as directed.
  • Merchandising and restocking and ordering.
  • Projects a positive image of the organization to employees, customers, industry, and community.
  • Embodies the culture, values, and tenets of FiSci Dispensary and full support of our purpose, goal, and key objectives.
  • This role may be required to assist with other duties as assigned as well as in other functions of the operation including but not limited to: call center, sales consulting, outreach, security and visual merchandising
  • Additional tasks as needed.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • Customer Experience Representatives
Relevant Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • High School Diploma
  • More than 1 year of formal sales/networking experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent presentation skills, sociable, outgoing
  • Ability to work independently and as a team
  • Experience working in a sales role in a highly regulated industry preferred
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug test required
Physical Requirements:
  • Long periods of prolonged sitting and standing
  • Long periods of prolonged use of office equipment including computers and phones
  • Requires normal range of hearing and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer
  • May require lifting up to 25 pounds occasionally
Work Environment:
  • Similar to a busy retail store operations facility
  • Constant interaction with internal and external stakeholders
