Material Handler - Parkersburg Warehouse

Job Description

Base Pay $17.00 per hour Ability to level up with experience Dayshift Parkersburg Warehouse - with ability to cross and cover other Ritchie County locations.

Duties and Responsibilities

We are looking for individuals who take pride in their work, who are self-motivated but also a team player. This position will be hybrid Glass Production Line and Material Handler as needed. All employees have the ability to level up as job knowledge increases.

• Works safely and applies STOP on the job
• Forklift experience preferred
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• General upkeep and 5S of designated area
• Maintaining quality process control checks and following standard work instructions
• Escalating quality, safety, and productivity concerns using proper chain of command
• Ability to work as a member of a team as well as independently
• Ensures product is handled in accordance with established standards
• Examines and measures products to verify conformance to standards, using measuring devices, such as templates, gauges or calipers
• Labels scrap carts for color designation
• Effective communication (oral and written)

Qualifications

• Walks / stands 12 hours
• Frequently lifts up to 20 lbs. Occasionally lifts up to 35 lbs. Frequently carries up to 20 lbs; occasionally carries up to 35 lbs.
• Frequently bends, squats, climbs, kneels, twists, push/pull and reach overhead. Must use hands frequently for grasping, fine manipulation and push/pulling
