Responsibilities for a Material Handler include but are not limited to:
• Perform shipping and receiving, including verifying packing lists, processing inbound materials, and ensuring accurate documentation
• Pick, pack, sort, arrange, count, and store finished goods and inventory according to established procedures and quality standards
• Operate powered industrial trucks and distribution equipment safely at various heights
• Utilize ERP systems, Outlook, and shipping software to support inventory control and order fulfillment
Candidates for Material Handler must meet the following requirements to be considered:
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 0-2 years of warehouse, logistics, or distribution experience (life sciences experience preferred)
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), meet productivity metrics, and maintain strong attendance
• Ability to work in varying warehouse temperatures (room temperature, cold-room, freezer-room) and lift up to 50 lbs as needed
• Basic computer skills and ability to navigate inventory and shipping systems
What's in this Material Handler position for you?
• Pay: $17.00/hour
• Shift: 1st Shift, Monday - Friday
- Training start time: 8:00 AM (first 3 days)
- Regular start time: 5:00 AM (ending at 1:30 PM) or 6:00 AM (ending at 2:30 PM)
- Overtime may include 9-10 hour shifts and occasional Saturdays (communicated in advance)
