Responsibilities/Qualifications
As a valued Pet Care Team Member, your day-to-day tasks may involve:

• Assisting neighbors in selecting the perfect products for their pets.
• Educating and advising pet owners on food ingredients and care practices.
• Ensuring the animals in the store receive love and attention, including feeding and habitat cleaning.
• Efficiently ringing up purchases and encouraging Preferred Pet Club memberships.
• Unloading deliveries, stocking shelves, and maintaining a tidy environment.

This role can be physically demanding, requiring the ability to lift heavy items (40-65 lbs.) and remain on your feet for long periods of time. We value teamwork, and we support educational growth through our interactive Pet Degree pay-for-knowledge programs. Ideal candidates will:

• Foster a supportive environment by collaborating and helping teammates.
• Possess knowledge about animals and related products to enhance the customer experience.
• Be flexible to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Be at least 16 years old and available to pass a drug screening (as required by state law).
