Key Responsibilities:

• Efficiently bag groceries for customers at checkout, aiming to bag at least five items while preventing damage to products.
• Assist customers by removing their merchandise from the shopping cart for an effortless checkout experience.
• Offer to help with loading bags into customers' vehicles to ensure convenience.
• Maintain store cleanliness through routine cleaning assignments, including spills and trash collection.
• Communicate grocery specials to customers, enhancing their shopping experience.
• Organize and restock merchandise on shelves, including seasonal items.
• Familiarize yourself with store layout to assist with product location and price checks effectively.
• Support safety initiatives by adhering to protocols and reporting unsafe conditions promptly.
• Follow food safety regulations and perform preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Create an inviting atmosphere for customers by answering queries about products throughout the store.
• Work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, handling conflict gracefully and respectfully.
• Engage positively with all customers, including minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.

Qualifications:

• Strong customer service and communication skills are essential.
• Previous retail experience is an asset but not required.
