Logistics Specialist - SRM

Job Summary

The Logistics Specialist SRM is responsible for AMS transportation and warehousing. You will manage and follow up the integrated and cost-effective logistic solutions in relation to the distribution and warehousing of finished goods from all AMS plants and warehouses. You will work with the Procurement team and be responsible for the operational management of our suppliers according to the contracts in place.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develops the logistics strategy/plan and network required to support the Delrin business together with the Regional Director Logistics & Warehousing.
  • Has ongoing interaction with all relevant stakeholders to anticipate changes in distribution requirements/opportunities and proactively works to resolve and keep the business updated
  • Ensures that all transportation safety and environmental incidents are fully investigated and corrective/preventative measures are implemented. Stay current on regulatory requirements which impact the distribution of our product.
  • Follows up on customer complaints with all parties
  • Integrate logistics in Delrin strategy and find ways to reduce cost and achieve service levels set by the Business
  • Manages the Finished product distribution expense and seeks opportunities for further improvements

Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or related field (preferred)
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Understanding of health and safety regulations
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • 3-5 years of warehouse or logistics management experience
