Description:
- Perform accounting for mortgage loan investments and service a portfolio of loans.
- Record a variety of journal entries, including acquisitions, dispositions, collections, disbursements, and adjustments.
- Address ad-hoc loan tasks and inquiries such as billing, escrow analysis, escrow payments, payment history, and adjustable-rate settings for internal and external clients.
- Maintain a well-controlled environment by following established procedures and controls.
- Support financial and investment reporting, including STAT and TAX reporting requirements.
- Service a portfolio of loans, including communication with borrowers, servicers, and colleagues.
- Process transactions and research payments as required.
- Prepare and review escrow analysis, full payment statements, amortization schedules, and loan payment histories.
- Execute assignments in accordance with company and department procedures, controls, and systems, incorporating sound decision-making for operational requests.
