HR Administrative Assistant / Recruiting Coordinator (Remote PST Hours)

Pay Rate: $35/hr. Schedule: MondayFriday, 8:30 AM5:00 PM PST Location: Fully Remote Industry: Legal (Experience preferred but not required)

Overview: Our client in the legal industry is seeking a skilled HR Administrative Assistant / Recruiting Coordinator to support HR Operations. This role requires strong administrative capabilities, excellent communication skills, and hands-on Workday experience. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable supporting a fast-paced HR team with recruiting, onboarding, and day-to-day HR processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support across HR Operations, ensuring smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks
  • Maintain employee records, update HR data, and process transactions within Workday
  • Assist with recruiting coordination including scheduling interviews, managing candidate communication, and tracking activity in the ATS/Workday
  • Support onboarding tasks, documentation collection, and compliance activities
  • Prepare reports, maintain spreadsheets, and assist with HR reporting needs
  • Collaborate with HR team members to support employee inquiries and policy administration
  • Assist with special projects, process improvements, and ongoing HR initiatives

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting HR operations or recruiting coordination
  • Proficiency with Workday (transactions, updates, reporting support)
  • Strong administrative, organizational, and multi-tasking skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently while supporting a remote team
  • Must be available to work PST hours (8:30 AM5:00 PM)
