Akkodis is seeking a Test Automation Lead for a Contract with a client in Tampa, FL(Remote). Candidate must have the ability to lead automation strategy while architecting scalable UI, API, and DB frameworks that support continuous testing.
Rate Range: $44/hour to $46/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Test Automation Lead job responsibilities include:
- Leads automation strategy, standards, and governance across all quality engineering initiatives.
- Architects scalable and reusable UI, API, and DB automation frameworks to support continuous testing.
- Integrates automated testing into CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and ALM tools.
- Mentors' engineers, conducts code reviews, and drives practice uplift across agile squads.
- Collaborates with product, developers, and SRE teams to embed shiftleft quality and optimize test environments.
- Troubleshoots automation failures, performs rootcause analysis, and drives effective defect resolution.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related engineering discipline.
- 4-6 years of handson experience in automation testing and framework development.
- Strong capability in architecting and maintaining scalable UI, API, and DB automation frameworks.
- Proven ability to integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines while leading governance, standards, and practice uplift across agile teams.
