The Field Research Technician will assist with biological field research in Kohlis ecology research lab. Responsibilities include collecting and managing biological data, performing data entry and analysis, organizing and processing tissue and other biological samples, generating research reports and summaries, assisting with trapping small mammals, setting up and monitoring camera traps, and traveling to and exploring field sites. Position Profile Establishes, implements, and monitors laboratory policies and procedures. Ensures lab operations are efficient, effective, and comply with established procedures. Provides instruction to students, faculty, and staff on safe laboratory procedures. Issues laboratory materials, equipment, etc. Maintains laboratory equipment.
