Ohio Athletics is seeking a graduate assistant to assist with the development of a highly competitive Women's Cross Country and Track & Field program along with developing student-athletes as a person, student, and athlete.
Primary responsibilities include assisting in the instruction, management, and teaching of student-athletes; assisting with the development of and execution of meet/practice plans, coaching strategies, and teaching methods; assisting with recruitment activities; assisting with aspects of team travel; breakdown of team and opponent video; and other duties as assigned.
Minimum qualifications include a bachelor's degree, enrollment as a graduate student currently enrolled in an Ohio University academic program, and strong research, writing, and communication skills.
Preferred qualifications include Cross Country and Track & Field experience.
This role is primarily desk-based and involves extensive use of desktop computers. Occasionally, the job may require travel to attend meetings and programs.
