Novolex - - Responsibilities: Operate extrusion machines and monitor performance to ensure quality production; Set up extrusion machine inputs, adjust roll gaps, and ensure production-grade quality control; Measure extruded articles with measuring wheel and trim to specified lengths; Move rolls with forklift and weigh on scale; record length and weight on shipping tags; Saw scrap tubes and rods for grinding in hammer mill; Mix thermoplastic materials according to formulas for feeding extrusion machine; Troubleshoot extrusion machines and replace/adjust dies, mandrels, containers, heating coils, and tools as needed; Regulate extrusion rate to prevent metal rupture and adhesion to container walls; Record data such as crew time, billets used, and items processed; maintain housekeeping
