Job Summary Custodian Floor Wax/Cleaning Crew: This work is done in aschool or district building environment and may include solvent or cleaningsmells. On feet all day, with bending, lifting, standing, twisting, walking,kneeling. Must be able to lift up to 100 pound loads on occasion, and 50pound loads repeatedly throughout the day.B. Qualifications:1. High School Diploma or GED required2. Personnel must be or have been classified as a custodian, or must pass thecompetency exam (demonstrate skill in use of machines/ equipment) forthis position in accordance with WV State Code §18A-4-8e.3. Physical strength, dexterity, and the ability to do manual labor.4. Valid West Virginia Driver's License.5. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to performeach essential duty satisfactorily.C. Expectations / Duties and Responsibilities:1. Must be a responsible person with a general knowledge of Custodianwaxing and cleaning.2. Be capable of performing semi-skilled and some skilled work of ordinarydifficulty requiring the use of cleaning equipment, or the operation ofmechanical equipment.3. Perform heavy physical labor.4.
