Warehouse Lead

AVI Foodsystems is looking for an energetic and optimistic leader to fill the role of Warehouse Lead. This full-time position is scheduled 4:00AM-2:00PM Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, with a 6:00AM-10:00AM shift on Saturdays. Days off are Tuesdays and Sundays.

The pay for this position is $15.50/ an hr.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assist in overseeing the supervision of the warehouse team and effective operation of packing, shipping, receiving and inventory
• Support the Warehouse Supervisor in running the warehouse
• Oversee and participate in the preparation of items for shipping, receiving, storing and inventory
• Ensure accuracy, completeness and condition of shipments, which includes lifting and carrying materials
• Review records for accuracy and compliance with established procedures
• Review shipping discrepancies as needed and work to rectify problems with relevant team members
• Assist with inventory counts
• Order warehouse supplies when needed
• Assist in the selection, training, motivation and review of team members
• Helping in our warehouse stock delivery orders and rotate product.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year experience in a supervisory role
• Previous experience working in a warehouse environment
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Valid driver's license and good driving record
