Precision Castparts Corp - - Responsibilities: Operate and maintain the VAR furnace and associated pre-melt and post melt equipment to meet productivity and quality targets; Perform pre-operative checks prior to and during pump down cycle; set up and operate the equipment furnace(s) for melting; Inspect electrodes, load materials, operate vacuum systems and related controls; monitor gauges and logs; Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure good operating condition of furnace and auxiliary systems; Support other departments as needed per production demands
