Sterling Industrial is a multi‑craft union contractor headquartered in Evansville, Indiana, providing civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical services for new construction and maintenance/retrofit projects in the power generation, metals, pulp/paper, plastics, and chemical markets.Position SummaryThe Project Superintendent is responsible for the oversight of all site craft personnel supporting Maintenance and small Capitol work, working directly with Project Manager and clients from conception to completion. He/she is directly in charge of managing the day‑to‑day site craft field staff in order to efficiently support plant requests for craft labor support, maintenance and other work. Duties include managing, in conjunction with Project Manager, labor issues, development and execution of construction means and methods, oversight of work plans, safety, and management of construction risk and ensuring quality construction standards are met.
