The following are the duties of this position at the full working level. If this vacancy includes more than one grade and you are selected at a lower grade level, you will have the opportunity to learn to perform these duties and receive training to help you grow in this position.

Responsibilities include:

• Reviewing video footage to assess agents' law enforcement performance and ensuring practices are consistent with policy and approved enforcement plans.
• Reviewing all enforcement action paperwork to ensure policy compliance and to identify any issues with equipment or plan implementation.
• Making recommendations to the BWC Program Manager regarding ways to adapt, revise or integrate BWC policy to further increase transparency and accountability in policing.
• Conducting appropriate review/audits of BWC recordings and monitoring field office metrics pertaining to BWC recordings to ensure policy compliance.
• Assisting field office management after critical incidents with collection, uploading and filing of BWC recordings.
• Managing distribution and inventory of BWC hardware in coordination with field office equipment coordinator.
• Troubleshooting technology/questions for law enforcement officers and training and certifications of Special Agents in the field office.
• Managing digital evidence in vendor's cloud-based storage solution and ensuring BWC recordings are uploaded to the vendor's digital evidence storage solution and properly named, classified and filed in a timely manner.
• Downloading and distributing BWC recordings upon case closures consistent with the handling of electronic case files for storage and ultimate case file disposal per IRS-CI record retention policies.
• Serving as field office liaison with other state/local/federal law enforcement partners for all BWC matters.
• Serving as the primary contact for BWC footage redaction and Freedom Of Information Act requests related to BWCs.
• Coordinating video transfers with the United States Attorney's Office to ensure all relevant videos are available for discovery purposes as part of the criminal trial.
• Serving as field office liaison and primary POC with BWC vendor and HQ BWC Senior Analyst and Program Manager. Coordinating camera repair & replacement with BWC vendor.
• Performing other duties as assigned.
