Unarmed Security Officer
Location: Marietta, OH
Available Schedules:
- Monday-Thursday | 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM | 32 hours per week
- Monday-Friday | 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM | 40 hours per week
Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable and professional Unarmed Security Officer to join our team at a healthcare facility in Marietta, OH. This position is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff through routine patrols, monitoring activities, and responding to security-related incidents.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine patrols of the facility and surrounding property.
- Monitor security cameras, alarms, and access points.
- Observe and report suspicious activity, safety concerns, and security incidents.
- Respond appropriately to emergencies and security-related situations.
- Complete daily activity logs and incident reports.
- Enforce facility policies and procedures.
- Provide excellent customer service while interacting with patients, visitors, and staff.
- Assist with access control and visitor management as required.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to obtain and maintain an Ohio Guard Card.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Physical exam clearance required.
- Strong communication and observation skills.
- Ability to remain professional and composed in stressful situations.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Previous security, healthcare security, military, or law enforcement experience preferred but not required.
- Experience working with radios, CCTV systems, or alarm monitoring equipment is a plus.
