Job Description - Under close direction from storekeeper, or supervision by food service management, receives, stores and distributes supplies and equipment.1. Adheres to all OSHA and/or Ohio University required safety guidelines.2. Receives shipments, unloads stock and checks for correct quantity and condition; stores, issues and may deliver supplies and equipment; may be responsible for laundry; assists in maintenance of perpetual inventory control; maintains all related records; answers phone.3. Maintains clean and orderly storeroom, refrigerators and freezers. Reports accidents and malfunctioning equipment.4. Performs other related duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications - • Knowledge of proper storage and food handling techniques;• Ability to carry out simple instructions in written, oral, and pictorial form;• Ability to work independently or with others;• Willingness to foster a welcoming and respectful workforce and community• Ability to read & write common vocabulary in sentence structure;• Ability to add, subtract, multiply & divide whole numbers, calculate fractions, decimals & percentages;• Ability to apply principles to solve practical problems;• Knowledge of all applicable OSHA and/or Ohio University safety guidelines and procedures;• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. (occasional stock weight 60-80 lbs.);• Successful completion of a test may be required;• Valid Driver's license;• May be exposed to extreme temperatures, prolonged standing (8 hours/day), heights.• Established pattern of good work habits and performance with good interpersonal skills.
